Having to sign documents using a pen is not practical and safe in our current situation. It necessitates your physical presence and the document has to go through numerous channels for it to get to its intended destination.

In late 2020, the Sign with Singpass feature started rolling out. This digital signing service followed the launch of the government’s Singpass Face Verification which enabled us to authenticate our identities using facial recognition that was cross-referenced in the Government’s biometrics database.
